The Hän Ghả Chukėt Träätätsey Artist Market is a key feature of the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival, taking place in beautiful Riverside Park—the riverfront gathering place that gives our festival its name. This space, nestled alongside the Yukon River, is the heart of Dawson’s summer community life and has hosted YRAF for years.

On Saturday of Arts Fest, our Artist Market features an array of local artists and artisans selling their goods at the Picnic Shelter on Riverside Park. YRAF aims to support local artists and makers by providing an opportunity for displaying and selling their art, craft and handmade goods during the busy weekend. Visitors are delighted to be able to purchase unique goods and original art, handmade by our talented local artists, thereby supporting and strengthening the economy of arts in Dawson City.

This summer 2026, the Hän Ghả Chukėt Träätätsey Summer Artist Markets is back — with a fresh focus to make each market day bigger, better, and more vibrant than ever!

Instead of hosting markets every Saturday during the summer, we’re concentrating our energy on select high-traffic weekends that align with other major community events — like YRAF, DCMF, Discovery Days and other special weekends. These dates consistently bring more visitors to our town and create the best opportunity for artists to showcase and sell their work. This condensed schedule will make the most of fewer, but higher-impact market days.

By focusing on these key dates, we aim to:

• Boost attendance for both vendors and visitors
• Create a more lively, exciting experience
• Offer enhanced programming, further engaging our artist community.
