Be it as an artist or performer, a vendor, a workshop facilitator or a volunteer, there are activities to fit a wide range of interests and skills.

At YRAF, we aim to provide professional opportunities for artistic creation and presentation, as well as educational and commercial opportunities.

The signature kick-off event of our festival is a fantastic evening of pop-up galleries and interactive experiences across Dawson City, where local and regional artists are invited to participate.

*these are paid opportunities offering participants a fee. We welcome artists of all backgrounds, styles and skill levels, prioritizing local talent. We aim to accommodate as many participants as possible, but due to the nature and scope of the Festival unfortunately there will be limited spots.

Do you have a skill you’d like to demonstrate?

We are inviting artists, artisans, and skilled makers to take part in our hands-on demonstrations during the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival. This is a great opportunity to share your craft with the public in an engaging and accessible way.

The demonstrations will take place on Saturday, June 14th, from 11 AM to 4 PM alongside the Hän Ghả Chukėt Träätätsey Artist Market at Riverside Park.

We’re looking for individuals with a hands-on practice they’d like to showcase — whether traditional or contemporary. Past demonstrations have included leatherwork, wool spinning, printmaking, carving, and more. If you have a unique skill or process you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you!

VOLUNTEER!

our volunteering opportunities are excellent ways to not only meet new people and give back to the community, but also learn and practice skills related to event organization and logistics, customer service and various other activities.
