Riverside Park Sites

The Riverside Park in Dawson City is the site that gives our festival its name. Running alongside the shore of the Yukon River, this park is a hub for summertime activities and recreation for our community, and it has been the main location of YRAF festivities since its beginnings. We are very grateful to be able to hold our festival in these grounds and would like to thank the City of Dawson for their continued support through the years!

Demonstration Tent

One of the many highlights of the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival is the Demonstration Tent, located along the dyke in the centre of the festival grounds. The Demo Tent features artists and artisans from all over the Yukon (and beyond!) who offer hands-on demonstrations of their crafts, skills, and mediums, inviting the public to participate, learn and create. From blacksmithing forge to spinning wool from angora rabbits, this year’s offer was sure to offer something for everyone!

Hän Ghả Chukėt Träätätsey Riverside Artist Market

On Saturday and Sunday of Arts Fest, our Artist Market featured an array of local artists and artisans selling their goods at the Picnic Shelter on Riverside Park. YRAF aims to support local artists and makers by providing an opportunity for displaying and selling their art, craft and handmade goods during the busy weekend. Visitors are delighted to be able to purchase unique goods and original art, handmade by our talented local artists, thereby supporting and strengthening the economy of arts in Dawson City.
