See/Saw

A series of painted portraits exhibited inside the Parks Canada S. S. Keno Boat

See/Saw, a series of paintings, was exhibited inside Parks Canada’s S.S. Keno. Up and down, up and down. Facing each other from a distance, finding our bearings, riding the curve, anticipating the next wave, trying to find refuge, retreating into our respective safe havens. Hang on tight. You see, you saw: portraits of quarantine. Yeehaw!

Annie Kierans is originally from the Maritimes: Canada’s Ocean Playground. She is happy as a clam at high water to be showing her paintings for the first time in Dawson on a boat.
